Board Member/Faculty/Staff Covenant
By God's grace…
- I will willingly submit to the Lordship of Christ and the authority of God’s Word
- I will eagerly pursue faithfulness to my own family and local church while partnering with parents and their churches to shepherd the hearts of Academy31’s students toward Christ
- I will earnestly strive to set an example of walking according to the Spirit rather than the flesh
- I will proactively seek the spiritual good of our students and school community through loving, respectful, and self-sacrificial leadership
- I will humbly receive feedback and correction from others, being quick to confess my own sin, forgiving others for their sin, and working toward biblical reconciliation, unity, and peace
- I will handle disagreements with gentleness, grace, patience, and understanding, seeking to come together over truth revealed in God’s Word and refusing to allow secondary matters of opinion to cause division
- I will diligently give my best effort toward every educational endeavor in grateful stewardship of the gifts and opportunities the Lord has afforded to me
- I will joyfully commit myself to the pursuit and modeling of biblical womanhood as outlined in Scripture, rejecting unbiblical values and aspirations
- I will reverently live as an ambassador for Christ whether on or off campus
Parent/Guardian Covenant
By God's grace…
- I will willingly submit to the Lordship of Christ and the authority of God’s Word
- I will eagerly pursue faithfulness in shepherding my child’s heart toward Christ while partnering with our local church and the faculty/staff of Academy31
- I will earnestly strive to set an example of walking according to the Spirit rather than the flesh
- I will proactively seek the spiritual good of my student and her school community by praying for, supporting, and participating in its mission and programs as appropriate
- I will humbly communicate any feedback, perspectives, questions, or concerns to school administration in a spirit of love and respect that aims for biblical reconciliation, unity, and peace
- I will handle disagreements with gentleness, grace, patience, and understanding, seeking to come together over truth revealed in God’s Word and refusing to allow secondary matters of opinion to cause division
- I will diligently support my student in giving her best effort toward every educational endeavor in grateful stewardship of the gifts and opportunities the Lord has afforded to us
- I will joyfully commit myself to the pursuit and modeling of biblical manhood and womanhood as outlined in Scripture, rejecting unbiblical values and aspirations
- I will reverently live as an ambassador for Christ whether on or off campus
Student Covenant
By God's grace…
- I will willingly submit to the Lordship of Christ and the authority of God’s Word
- I will willingly submit to the leadership of my parents, church elders, and Academy31’s faculty and staff as an expression of my submission to Christ and Scripture
- I will earnestly strive to walk according to the Spirit rather than the flesh
- I will proactively seek the spiritual good of my peers through genuine care, service, encouragement, and mutual accountability rather than selfish ambition, envy, rivalry, and gossip
- I will humbly receive feedback and correction from others, being quick to confess my own sin, forgiving others for their sin, and working toward biblical reconciliation, unity, and peace
- I will handle disagreements with gentleness, grace, patience, and understanding, seeking to come together over truth revealed in God’s Word and refusing to allow secondary matters of opinion to cause division
