Village31
Village31 is a partnership of parents and families, teachers and staff, and other enthusiastic champions whose shared purpose is to work together to enhance the overall student/family experience at Academy31 and enrich the school community in accordance with its mission of training up godly young women of character and competence.
Various committees work together to carry out Village31's purpose as follows:
DEVELOPMENT- works with A31 board & staff to promote school’s growth & sustainability by engaging prospective students, families, volunteer Guest Mentors/Guest Teachers, and donors.
EVENTS- organizes V31-sponsored family social events; assists with A31-sponsored school events; helps plan & carry out annual Harvest! event to celebrate, engage, & fundraise.
MERCHANDISE- designs, orders, & sells A31 apparel & other branded items; coordinates uniform exchange.
PRAYER- gathers requests from families & staff; prays faithfully for school; holds weekly prayer meetings.
SERVICE- coordinates service projects to benefit school & community; arranges carpools; maintains list of community resources & activities.
Membership donations are collected annually to cover the cost of fellowship events and teacher/staff appreciation gifts.
